Hello Team Pwnage Stream Team,
What is a Twitch Stream Team?
“A Twitch stream team is a grouping of streamers who voluntarily join upon being invited by a team maker. Typically these people have a common goal, mindset, game, or approach to streaming that binds them together under their team banner.
It’s a multi-way endorsement that says to Twitch viewers: these streams I approve of and they approve of me, so check them out!”
Now that you have read that I would like to improve and maintain a consistency within our Team Pwnage Stream Team. As our old slogan says “We are One We are United We are Team Pwnage“. We are asking that all TPwn stream team members place our banner in their Twitch panels with our Stream team link. Yes it is true that when you go live our name is displayed next to the game you are playing. But everyone loves visuals and our banner will certainly help. Our banner is small and simple and can be viewed even when you are not online.
Going forward for any new members that may join this will be a mandatory requirement to join our stream team. It would be ideal for our current members to lead by example going forward. I know if anyone of us were to inquire a individual sponsorship we would comply to adding their logo, and trust me our support will be much better then that of any sponsor.
Being Active/ Hosting
Some of us are more active streamers than others. Which is fine but here is how you can help keep our Stream team alive and kicking. Hosting, hosting can be a great support for our fellow members. Hosting can be done by PC or mobile (desktop mode). Go into YOUR channel chat while you are offline and type: /host username
Doing this shows support to your fellow TPwn members. Unlike other stream teams you know our members, you chat with them regularly. So why not support, it shows you are thinking of your fellow streamer and it’s just a nice gesture. Our discord has a “Stream” section that notifies us when a member goes live. You can use this to help you host our members. Try hosting different members when you can, spread the TPwn love! Let’s not forget about friendly retweets and tweets to help your fellow stream members. Those go a long way too.
We are doing everything in our power to support our members and streamers. We are all busy but the littlest efforts once or twice a day can make a big difference in the overall support system we are trying to build here at Team Pwnage. Having a Official Twitch Stream Team Page is a privilege that some gaming communities do not have the privilege of having. Let’s take advantage of this and utilize it to the best of our abilities.
Effective October 1st, 2017 we will be requiring all members of Team Pwnage that stream to participate in charity events. What does this mean you ask? With every charity event there will be opportunities to participate. The most ideal way to participate is to take a slot during the charity event itself. The second way is now a requirement, we will be asking that all members have a link in your twitch bot of your choice directing them to the charity. Another way for those that do not use bots is to have a link in their twitch panels. Together as a community we must stand together in the same goals, having this requirement will help the community and help the wonderful charities we choose to help.
Unfortunately failure to comply or the lack of efforts to support your fellow streamers may result in your stream team status to be put under review. A members status on the Stream Team does not reflect your membership in Team Pwnage as a whole. When joining Team Pwnage and its stream team we ask for your support. Let’s make this a Great experience for everyone, lets show some TPwn Pride!
